WHX Dubai, the show formerly known as Arab Health, returns from 25 to 28 January 2027 across two venues: the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Organised by Informa Markets, it sits at the centre of World Healthcare Week, alongside WHX Tech (26–28 January) and WHX Leaders (26 January), both at DWTC. According to the organiser's impact report, the 2026 edition drew 68,000 attendees and 4,042 exhibitors from 193 countries. For a project like this, see our exhibition videography service.
For medical device makers, pharma companies, labs and healthcare groups, these four days are demos, meetings and announcements in front of buyers and partners. This guide is for exhibitors and agencies booking a videographer for WHX Dubai 2027: which venue is which, what to film, how to handle claims and consent, crew size, sound, same-day clips and costs.
Two venues: plan the crew by building
The organiser splits the show by topic. DEC hosts the international halls and the main exhibition zones: medical equipment and devices, imaging and diagnostics, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, infrastructure, general services and IT. DWTC hosts the labs zone, pharma and biotech, longevity and wellness, disposables and consumables and more medical equipment, as well as WHX Tech and WHX Leaders.
A complimentary shuttle runs between the venues on every show day, but a crew with equipment loses hours on the road. If you exhibit in both places, book a crew for each. For arrival, parking and build-up at DEC, see our guide to filming at Dubai Exhibition Centre.
Check the opening hours too: 11:00 to 18:00 on the first day, 10:00 to 18:00 on the second and third, and 10:00 to 17:00 on the last. Advantage and Platinum ticket holders enter an hour earlier, so shots of the empty stand must be finished before that.

What to film at WHX Dubai
Video shows how a healthcare product works better than any photo:
- The stand before opening. Design, products and screens without visitors.
- Product demos. A device in the hands of a trained specialist, on a simulator or a model, with close-ups of the interface and the mechanism. Make sure demo screens show sample data only.
- Expert interviews. Clinicians and specialists who speak on your stand, in short answers about why the product matters to them. Book their time before the show.
- Talks and sessions. Anything on your own stand. Sessions on the official stages belong to the organiser, so ask for permission before filming them.
- Meetings and signings with distributors, hospital groups and partners.
- Vertical clips of 15–45 seconds for LinkedIn and Instagram while the show is running.
Claims, consent and clean areas
- Claims. Health advertising in the UAE is regulated, and statements about results, safety or comparisons with other products need care. Let your regulatory or medical affairs team approve the interview questions before the show and every clip before it goes out. We film and edit; your team approves the words.
- No patients. An exhibition is not a clinic, and filming patients is not normal at shows. Demos use models, simulators and trained staff. Anyone who takes part in a demo on camera signs a release.
- Clean areas. Some stands have mock operating rooms, sterile packaging or lab benches. Our crew follows the stand team's rules: no touching equipment, bags off the surfaces, covers or gloves where asked.
- Visitors. Badges show names and employers. Ask before filming anyone closely.
How many videographers you need
For a single stand, we recommend two videographers: one for demos and interviews, the other for visitors, details and anything unexpected. Large stands with several product areas need more people, and three or more videographers work best with a production coordinator.
Sound for expert interviews
Exhibition halls are loud, and the camera microphone records the whole hall. Expert interviews need a separate sound recordist with wireless microphones and the right equipment: product names and technical terms must be clear for subtitles and for review. Use a meeting room on the stand and give each speaker a time slot.
Same-day clips
If you want to post during the show, plan an editor on site. Footage goes from the cameras to the editor during the day, and short clips are ready by the evening. In healthcare, same-day works only when approval is same-day too: name one person from your team who reviews each clip as soon as it is ready.
Access and accreditation
Exhibitors usually register their contractors, including a video crew, through the organiser's exhibitor services. Read the exhibitor manual early for badge deadlines, build-up times and filming rules, and check whether crew badges cover both venues. Your own stand is yours to film; the aisles, other stands and official stages may need the organiser's permission.
What it costs
Our rates for event filming apply to WHX Dubai as well:
- Videographer: AED 3,500 for a half day (up to 6 hours on site, even if the event is shorter) or AED 4,500 for a full day (up to 12 hours).
- Sound recordist with all the equipment, for interviews and vox pops: AED 2,500 per day.
- Editor on site for same-day clips: AED 3,500 per day (up to 8 hours).
- Production coordinator for crews of three or more videographers: AED 3,500 per day.
- Travel: DEC and DWTC are both in Dubai, so there is no travel fee.
- Editing is quoted separately, by the number and complexity of the videos.
These prices are approximate and exclude 5% VAT. Try the event price calculator with your hours and crew, and confirm the exact figure with our producer on WhatsApp.
Plan it now
Late January comes quickly after the holidays. Book the crew as soon as your stand plan is fixed, and send us:
- the venue, hall and stand number;
- the days and hours you need;
- the demos, interviews and sessions that must be filmed;
- who on your team approves the clips;
- what you want to receive and by when.
