Conference Videography in Dubai & the UAE
Booking a conference videographer in Dubai? We record keynotes and panels, interview speakers and edit a highlight film of your conference, forum or summit in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.

A conference happens once and on a fixed timetable. We plan the cameras from your programme, take clean sound from the AV desk and agree before the day which sessions are recorded in full and which become short clips.
Need the event streamed live as well? Our live streaming team runs Fat Cat Live.

Event videographer prices in Dubai
An event videographer costs from AED 500 per hour when you book a full day of 8 hours. Shorter bookings cost more per hour, because travel and setup take the same time for a short event; the minimum booking is 2 hours.
Rates are per videographer and cover filming on site. We recommend at least 2 videographers for an event: one stays with the stage or the main action, the other films guests, details and reactions. A crew of 3 or more videographers works with a production coordinator, AED 3,500 per day.
Editing is quoted separately: it depends on how complex the edit is and how many finished videos you need. For interviews and vox pops we add a sound recordist with all the equipment, AED 2,500 per day. An editor working on site for same-day films costs AED 3,500 per day (up to 8 hours).
All prices are approximate. Please discuss the details of your event with our project manager on WhatsApp or by email.
| Hours on site | Filming | Per hour |
|---|---|---|
| 2 hours | AED 1,500 | AED 750 |
| 3 hours | AED 1,950 | AED 650 |
| 4 hours | AED 2,400 | AED 600 |
| 5 hours | AED 3,000 | AED 600 |
| 6 hours | AED 3,300 | AED 550 |
| 7 hours | AED 3,850 | AED 550 |
| 8 hours | AED 4,000 | AED 500 |
Each hour after the eighth is AED 500. Events of several days are quoted individually.
What a conference videographer records
Start with the list of finished videos, not with cameras. At most conferences we film:
- Keynotes and plenary sessions, recorded in full with the speaker's slides.
- Panels and fireside chats, with a camera on the moderator and on the speakers.
- Interviews with speakers, sponsors and delegates, away from the stage.
- Atmosphere: registration, networking, the exhibition area and partners' stands.
- The opening, the awards and the closing, for the highlight film.
- Photos for the press release and the partners' report.
Cameras, sound and slides
One speaker on one stage needs two cameras: a close shot and a wide shot, so the edit can cut between them. Panels work better with a third camera, and every parallel hall needs its own setup.
Viewers forgive an average picture much sooner than bad sound. Clean audio of a talk comes from the venue's or the AV company's sound desk, so we ask for an audio feed and a contact person on their side early.
Slides are half of most talks. We record the presentation feed from the AV desk or collect the files from speakers, and tell speakers in advance that their slides appear in the recording.
Conferences and summits our crew has filmed
- IRENA: Council meetings every year since 2022 and Assembly sessions in Abu Dhabi.
- World Future Energy Summit at ADNEC and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
- TikTok summits for the brand's teams, partners and creators.
- World Blockchain Summit in Dubai.
- GITEX Global at Dubai World Trade Centre: 2023 and 2025.
- Expo 2020 Dubai: talks, ceremonies and events from December 2021 to March 2022.
After the conference
The value of conference video is in what happens next. A short clip or photos go out the same day, the highlight film follows, and session recordings are released one by one over the following months.
A simple publishing plan made before the conference turns two days of filming into months of content for LinkedIn, the website and next year's promotion.

Questions
How much does conference videography cost in Dubai?
A videographer costs from AED 500 per hour when booked for a full day of 8 hours; shorter bookings cost more per hour and the minimum booking is 2 hours. A conference usually needs two or more cameras, so the filming cost follows the number of halls and hours. Editing is quoted separately, by the number and complexity of the videos.
How many cameras does a conference need?
For one speaker on one stage, two cameras: a close shot of the speaker and a wide shot of the stage. Panels are easier to edit with a third camera. Each parallel hall needs its own setup, and a separate videographer covers atmosphere and interviews.
Can you record the slides as well?
Yes. We either record the presentation feed from the AV desk or collect the files from speakers and add them in the edit. We agree which one with you and the AV company before the conference.
Do you record interviews with speakers?
Yes. For interviews and vox pops we bring a sound recordist with all the equipment (AED 2,500 per day), book a quiet corner with a good background and give each speaker a time slot.
Can you live stream the conference?
Live streaming is handled by our sister team, Fat Cat Live, and can run alongside the recording. See fatcatlive.ae.
When do we get the videos?
We agree the delivery dates before the conference. If you need a clip or a highlight film on the same day, tell us in advance: an editor can work on site for AED 3,500 per day (up to 8 hours).
Do you film conferences outside Dubai?
Yes: in Abu Dhabi, including ADNEC, in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, and in other GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia and Oman.
